- Bed Quilt:

- Wall Hanging:
Quilt intended for display on a wall.
- Miniature: Maximum width 24
inches; maximum length 24 inches.
A miniature quilt is by definition the miniaturization (reduced or scaled

the quilt blocks and components, the quilter produces an exact replica of a
full size quilt.

recently completed by a quilter who was not the original maker of the quilt top.

amount or effect.
- Mixed: A quilt featuring two
or more predominant techniques not including quilting (i.e. embroidery,
appliqué, beading, photo transfer, textile painting, etc.)
- Other: A quilt where one special technique is used to develop
the design of the top such as whole cloth, surface design, crazy quilt, cathedral window, embroidered, etc.

hand or machine.
- Art Quilt: A quilt of any
size, shape, or technique that doesn't fall within one of the other listed
categories is acceptable. An art quilt is the work of one quilt artist and
must consist of the basic fabric sandwich (top, batting and backing).
Originality, creativity, and innovation MUST be showcased in the piece. The
piece must contain some hand or machine quilting. The quilt maker may use a
variety of techniques as long as the fabric and quilting form the basis of
the piece.
- Quilted Bag/Tote: Bag or
