2011 Challenge

Kaleidoscope of Colors

Consider this your personal invitation to participate in this judged competition! Use your imagination to interpret the theme, Kaleidoscope of Colors. You will receive a packet of three fat eighths.

The rules are:

{   You must use a recognizable portion of each fabric on the top.  
{   You can add as many other fabrics as you wish.
{   You may use any combination(s) of construction techniques.
{   You may use any form of embellishment(s).
{   Your entry MUST be three-layered, quilted, and bound.
{   The piece should be no larger than 24” x 24”
{   Your entry MUST have a sleeve attached to the back for hanging, or some other
             mechanism for display.
{   Check the web site (www.gcqc.org) for information on how to receive a fabric
             packet
{   The fabric packet will cost $5.

There is no entry fee for this Special Exhibit.

This category will be judged independently of the Kaleidoscope XV Show, with a prize award given for

{   the Best Interpretation of Theme, and
{   Best of Show Invitational.
